A sad story circulating on social media relays the predicament of a 17-year-old Wang Shangkun who sold his kidney in 2011 on the black market & used the money to buy an iPhone 4 and iPad 2. 

Now, 8yrs later, the 25yr old man's remaining kidney has failed & he's now completely bedridden; a burden to his family as he also needs regular dialysis.

And the gadgets he bought are not the trends anymore.

According to reports, the kidney failure was caused by the illegal operation which caused complications for him. His family sued and won 168k pounds
