JAMB CBT Cutoff Mark For All Schools – 2017/2018
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, (UTME) 2017/18 Jamb Cut Off Marks for All Nigeria Institutions has NOT been released! The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has yet to release cut-off marks for placements into tertiary institutions for the 2017 academic year.

Official Jamb 2016/2017 Cut off mark
The Registrar of The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has stated that a total of 1,589,175 candidates applied to write JAMB UTME this session (2016).
In his statement, He also confirmed that the exams are slated to begin on 27th February, 2016 and would last for a total of 14 days.
He also said that the minimum cut-off to certify entry into any institution is 180 Marks, but any institution is allowed to raise their entry cut-off based on their internal requirements such as course or number of applicants. This was reached and agreed in a meeting in which the Minister of Education Chaired.
To summon it up, any candidate who score below 180 is not eligible to apply for admission into any institution in Nigeria. Read more on Jamb CBT 2016 Cut-off Mark Here.
Why is it important to know the cutoff mark for Nigeria universities?
It is very important because a lot of Universities has different cut off mark. University of Lagos, UNILAG 2016 cut-off mark can be 200, why University of ilorin, (Unilorin) can be 180.
So, if you chose UNILAG as your choice and you scored 190/ your best choice is to apply for change of institution.
If you don’t know your school cutoff point, then you are not qualified to apply for their Post-UTME Screening.

Nigeria Universities cut-off point: The Minimum cut-off point for Nigeria Universities is 180, but some will cut 200. So be prepare to apply for change of institution and/or course if your score is below the required cut-off.
Nigeria Polytechnics and College Of Education minimum cutoff point is 160, but some might chose to cut below or above that.
